Ah ok, at least that says the crash kernel is working at least for the official kernel. Not sure why it does not work for the real issue. Maybe 30s is too long and the system messes itself up to hard. For that reason I was mentioning to try without delay.
For the mainline kernels maybe they are considered not worthy to be dumped. I would use them just as data pointers to know whether the issue still exists there as well. If even the latest 6.19 kernels fail the last resort without a dump is to bisect between 6.14 and 6.17. But that will be long and painful. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2141225 Title: Kernel panic when connecting USB-C Dell monitors on Ubuntu kernel 6.17.0-14-generic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-6.17/+bug/2141225/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
