Public bug reported:

Any context menu on GTK4 apps presents a massive amount of lag that
freezes the screen for a very noticeable amount of time, so much so that
even using the super button does not take me to the activities screen
until at least a second passes.

I tried the same on Chromium and it does not happen, tried the same on GIMP
which uses GTK3 and it does not happen. I haven't noticed any other performance
regression in any app including GTK4 ones, only this very noticeable problem.
I am using Ubuntu 25.10 for the Raspberry Pi 5 and this is the information that
the OS gives regarding my installation.
