Public bug reported:

On my HP 15da0077tx laptop running Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (kernel
6.17.0-14-generic), the internal microphone does not work. The kernel
detects the codec (Realtek ALC236) and shows both Internal Mic=0x12 and
Mic=0x19 in dmesg, but PulseAudio/PipeWire always marks the internal mic
as "unplugged" and no audio is captured.

Steps tried:
- Verified with `arecord -l` (only one capture device shown).
- Boosted Internal Mic and Capture via amixer (`Internal Mic Boost`, `Capture
cap`).
- Tested recording with ALSA (`arecord`) and PulseAudio (`parecord`), always
silent.
- Tried multiple driver quirk models in `/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf`
(`alc236`, `alc269`, `alc256`, `dell-headset-multi`), no success.
- Reinstalled ALSA, PipeWire, PulseAudio, and updated kernel.

Expected behavior:
Internal microphone should be available and capture audio.

Actual behavior:
Internal microphone is detected but always silent/unplugged. External mic works
fine.

System info:
- Ubuntu 24.04 LTS Pro
- Kernel: 6.17.0-14-generic
- Codec: Realtek ALC236
- Laptop: HP 15da0077tx
