Hi, I’m experiencing the exact same problem as @C6H6 (c6h6vita). Sorry for bringing up an older bug report again.
In my case, ModemManager was installed automatically alongside KDE when I installed Kubuntu 25.10. The newest version (from 18.02.2026) available from the repository for me is: modemmanager/questing 1.24.2-0ubuntu1 amd64. This one contains the problem. In another thread, @C6H6 (c6h6vita) mentioned that they installed the package from the following URL: https://mega.nz/file/CZtzWBZL#VR727-LE12Y9lkicp9eXssQ3AH3qge6KgWIA6BVkHlc I took a look into the package (because I don't know where they got it from) and then tested it on my system. Their provided package fixed that issue. If needed, I'm willing to provide additional information.
