Andrey asked me to have a look, after damn-last-minute-feature-freeze I did :-)
- Build is fine now - copyright is fine - applying some good standards (which I'll need to suggest upstream) is done - general modern packaging wrapped around it - Some iterations to make lintian really happy Here is a preliminary version to test: https://launchpad.net/~paelzer/+archive/ubuntu/sassist-add-deb-packaging The RPM package is in the upstream repo as well, so I'll propose it there for consideration. Which AFAICS is also you then Charles right? In particular the placement of the binary could be reconsidered - now fixed in the Debian packaging, but if you are up to it you might make that the default. Ideally I'd ask to test this on the real thing please, but time oh time. Since it is the last day at feature freeze here is my proposal: 1. I'll complete (the superficial) autopkgtest to complete my self checks 2. If they are good I'll upload to Ubuntu and ask (since it is small and trivial) for acceptance 3. I'll also propose to add that to the upstream repo, then you can maintain it along any changes you do, and you can evolve it along with the tool. Then future updates become only a problem of getting upload rights or a sponsor to do so. And it eases adoption in Debian as well as they could take it almost as is. 4. But I expect that you Charles/Andrey please give it a try on the real environment, if that fails or show other signs of doom (or gets no test at all) we will remove the package before the release of resolute. Is that possible to have a result back before 5th of march? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2130263 Title: Include sassist in ubuntu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2130263/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
