The Ceph 20.2.0 release has been out since November. Please try to make that kind of update earlier in the cycle next time, to accommodate for more testing time on the many reverse depends. In that particular case, considering what's described in the [Regression potential] section, is there a real need to have this particular release in Resolute, or could this in principle wait for next cycle?
To clarify, I'm not strictly against granting that FFe, but I'd need a rational as to why this is needed, as well as a better described Test Plan taking into account the Ubuntu archive, not the Ceph charms. Also, unrelated to the outcome of that FFe, this bug description is quite confusing. It's using the SRU template while not being an SRU. It's also mentioning charm testing quite a lot, but this is about a debian package in the Ubuntu archive. And finally, as mentioned above, the description is kinda missing the **why** this update is needed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2139385 Title: Update Ceph to new 20.2.0 (Tentacle) version To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ceph/+bug/2139385/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
