This issue was reported at https://github.com/vinceliuice/Orchis- kde/issues/25. Users have reported a black bar under all windows, several examples of which can be seen in the above-linked Github issue. I went ahead and patched the problem, sent the patch upstream, and uploaded the patch to the version in resolute. However, questing is identically affected. [Test Case] - Install Ubuntu Studio. Orchis is the default theme. - Open any window, including Dolphin Expected: No weird black bar at the bottom of every window Actual: Weird black bar [What could go wrong] As this changes the window border dimensions, it could cause other undesired effects such as thinning of the window border or changes to the dimensions of the shadows under the windows.
