@Achraf Soltani (theheretik) This looks very interesting, and I am tempted to test this solution on my laptop if it has a chance of working. However the sensor on mine is not the same, as I have a hi556, also sometimes refered as INT3537.
My question is: is your solution limited to the camera sensor "OmniVision OV08F40"? Or can it be also used for other sensor types which are ipu6 MIPI? Note this laptop is a HP ENVY 2-in-1 convertible, Alder Lake generation. The camera works with Fedora (since Fedora 41), but yet I haven't been able to make it work under Ubuntu 24.04 / Linux Mint 22.x, presently on kernel 6.17.
