Hello, I think, (because it is some time now), that I first noticed it after an update. Initially I thought that it was an issue about desktop icons extension, since this was right in front of me and by switching between ubuntu's package of desktop icons and the independent one, no change was observed.
The apparmor update took place on 11th of February and I started "experimenting" with the extensions on 17th of February (checked via History of synaptic). Searching the internet in between, I was trying to figure out which package was responsible, so after some research, I ended up with apparmor. My default application for opening pdf files was papers all the time and not evince by the way. Just one day before reporting the bug, I selected evince among others just for checking. I do not know if all these are of any help. Regards! Just to add that I also tried creating a new user to check it out, but to no avail. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2143235 Title: no pdf thumbnails To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apparmor/+bug/2143235/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
