** Description changed:

FFe request: add "redfs" to the PRUNEFS list.

  See diff in attached branch.

Comment #4 has a sample mount output showing the filesystem mounted, and
the name it shows up as.

Here is a ppa with a previous build:
  https://launchpad.net/~ahasenack/+archive/ubuntu/plocate-redfs

Since then, the archive got a no-change rebuild. I just rebased my
branch on top of that, and it is currently building in the ppa, but
there were really no functional changes between 1ubuntu3 and before.

- Autopkgtests with 1ubuntu2 from the ppa were green:

Support requested I open a bug report to get this resolved

  Support case - https://support-portal.canonical.com/tickets/00421967

REDFS is a new POSIX filesystem that DDN is releasing as part of the
  Infinia product

  HI

I spoke to Nicholas and Aniket

  Nicholas Cabrera [email protected]
  Aniket Ponkshe [email protected]

They both suggested to open a ticket to get this resolved

We have a file system that we don't want to be scanned because it could
have 10’s of PB and be mounted on 1000’s of clients.

We would like to get it added to the exception list of
  /etc/updatedb.conf

  cat /etc/updatedb.conf | grep PRUNEFS

PRUNEFS="NFS afs autofs binfmt_misc ceph cgroup cgroup2 cifs coda
configfs curlftpfs debugfs devfs devpts devtmpfs ecryptfs ftpfs
  fuse.ceph fuse.cryfs fuse.encfs fuse.glusterfs fuse.gocryptfs
  fuse.gvfsd-fuse fuse.mfs fuse.rclone fuse.rozofs fuse.sshfs fusectl
fusesmb hugetlbfs iso9660 lustre lustre_lite mfs mqueue ncpfs nfs nfs4
ocfs ocfs2 proc pstore rpc_pipefs securityfs shfs smbfs sysfs tmpfs
  tracefs udev udf usbfs”

  Filesystem is called - redfs

I am happy to discuss on the phone if that helps

  Thanks
  Ken
