the gobblygook is the audit subsystem encoding messages that contain
certain characters. It is extremely annoying, the apparmor tooling will
decode it, but this isn't even something controlled by apparmor.

eg. if  I start aa-decode and paste the name= gooblygook in, the output is gets 
translated
