considering the amount of complaining transmission-gtk does for me in
24.04 on various paths/occasions, blindly enforcing will simply disable
it.

I'm using Debian's build of ver. 4.1 now, but I think the issues are
pretty much the same with the shipped 4.0

Just yday I've found it also absolutely floods the dmesg if I open the
downloaded file via the Open file button in the completion popup (it
seems to be bc of this):
