I noticed that maybe using TLP significantly increased the 'Unsafe Shutdowns' count on my NVMe SSD, so I removed it. However, the amd_pmc error -5 remains even without TLP. To prevent further SSD degradation, I added nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=0 to my GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT. This workaround successfully stopped the 'Unsafe Shutdowns' counter from increasing, although the root cause in the amd_pmc driver is still present.
