After going back all the way to 6.8.0-48, I was able to reproduce this issue on every single kernel version I tested between 6.8.0-48 and 6.8.0-100.
Oddly, I never had any issues when these kernels were current. Things worked up to at least March/April 2025 (which should have been around 6.8.0-54 to 6.8.0-56); I first noticed issues in December 2025 (around 6.8.0-90 to 6.8.0-94). (I didn’t use wifi much in between.) That would indicate that the issue is not with the kernel or any package bound to a particular kernel version.
