Still odd that this occurred all of a sudden and out of nowhere. The same card has been sitting in the same slot for years, without ever having been touched.
I will check the card is firmly seated, just to rule out a loose connection as the culprit. Otherwise, the most likely candidate as per my research is linux- firmware – I’ve added that as a potentially affected package. If someone can let me know how to figure out which earlier firmware versions I had on my machine, and selectively downgrade to a particular version, pointers are welcome. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2128724 Title: iwlwifi crashing after some hours, leaving WiFi broken To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2128724/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
