I see the patch has been submitted upstream, so I'll keep an eye to see when it's accepted in Linus' tree so that we can pick it up in applicable Ubuntu kernels. Note that due to our Stable Release Update timings it may only be available in around a month from the official kernels. In the meantime, if you find no other issues with the kernel I prepared (it is based on the proposed kernels which are still in testing) it would be easiest to stay on that until this bug is marked as Fix- Released. At that time, don't forget to remove the test PPA and kernel from your machine.
