Steps I tried: 1) Start the guest with the attached guest xml, which has SAN disk as the disk for installation. 2) Now in this scenario again this disk will get ubuntu-vg as the VG name. 3) Already host had the SAN disk installed with the same name as ubuntu- vg because that is the default one. NOTE: Now host has 2 disks which has same name ub ubuntu-vg as the Volume group name. Can host identify and update the name on it's own before doing the reinstallation because the scenario is valid of installing host and guest on different SAN disks. I feel this might be an issue.
