I tried building the Unity Control Center again, but somehow the UnityLogo.png file under debian/unity-control-center/usr/share/unity- control-center/ui/ isn't being created with the `./panels/info/logo- generator --logo panels/info/UnityLogoBlank.png --text "unity 7.7.1"` command. According to the build log, it's first installed in `/usr/bin/install -c -m 644 info.ui GnomeLogoVerticalMedium.svg UnityLogo.png '/<<PKGBUILDDIR>>/debian/tmp/usr/share/unity-control- center/ui'`, and then perhaps the newly created UnityLogo.png is overwritten by the existing UnityLogo.png file under panels/info/. I did try replacing the old UnityLogo.png with the newly created UnityLogo.png file once. https://launchpad.net/~darkgrave/+archive/ubuntu/unity7-daily/ In this version, the new logo is now displayed correctly in the Control Center.
