Apologies, I've made the correction. Thank you.
** Summary changed: - Mouse Cursor Sticky/Latency | Google Acct/Drive Mount Issue + Mouse Cursor Sticky/Latency ** Description changed: Since I've installed the 26.04 BETA there's been two issues that weren't present on the 24.04.4 LTS. - 1. Mouse Cursor: - The mouse cursor will randomly stick (latency) when I start to move the mouse or touchpad (doesn't matter which device), or when the cursor is in motion it will still at random stick to a location and catch up. The latency catches up in about 1-2 seconds but will often happen again and again a few seconds later, a minute, five minutes, etc. I haven't been able to detect a pattern of when it occurs. System load doesn't seem to be a factor as it happens at any power level, performance stage/level, and even at low to nearly no resource/system load. I am running on my discreet/dedicated GPU, but wouldn't think that's the issue. This has only started to happen once I started BETA. + Mouse Cursor: + The mouse cursor will randomly stick (latency) when I start to move the mouse or touchpad (doesn't matter which device), or when the cursor is in motion it will still at random stick to a location and catch up. Google Account / Online Accounts -- File Sync/Drive Mounting: - This is another issue that's only started after 26.04 BETA was installed. On the 24.04 LTS I've had no issues with linking my google acct via Online Services and Google Drive (Files) "mounting" properly and then I'm able to use the file explorer/viewer to navigate my Google Drive files. Even on my travel laptop I currently have 24.04 LTS on it right now and it works just fine. On my Acer laptop with the BETA on it, from the very beginning I've had issues. I'm able to register the Google account and it will show successful and show as active in the Online Accounts section as well as in the file explorer/viewer. However, when I click on the "Drive" in the file explorer I receive an error indicating that the drive isn't able to mount. I've removed and re-added numerous times with no success. - - - Lastly, I've ensured all programs, firmware, OS Updates are current. - + Lastly, I've ensured all programs, firmware, OS Updates are current. ########################################################################################################### - PC/Machine: + PC/Machine: Acer | Predator Helios Neo 16s (PHN16S-71) | Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 275HX × 24 | 32.0 GiB RAM | NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 5070 Ti Laptop GPU | Firmware Version: V1.26 ########################################################################################################### -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2146854 Title: Mouse Cursor Sticky/Latency To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2146854/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
