Public bug reported:
On multi-monitor setup, resizing ptyxis larger (horizontally or
vertically) than the current screen size initially works while holding
the mouse key down, but snaps back to the maximum size of the current
screen when mouse key is released.
**I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature**
I've tried setting preferences to set initial size to be larger than the
current screen, but can not get window larger than current screen.
To Reproduce
In single screen setup, move the window so that most of window is not visible.
Drag the border to resize the window as large as possible.
Release the border. Drag the window to the visible region - it will be the size
of the window.
In mutli-screen setup, drag the border across multiple screens so that
the size is larger than one screen. It will resize correctly while being
resized, but will snap back to single screen size when released.
