Thinking about it, it would appear that ptyxis is working as described on the packet with fresh install and a fresh home directory. You probably/certainly have some real bugs to fix before the release, so I would suggest that unless you like to hear what my investigations find, it would be better to:-
close this bug report as not an issue.
