Hi Daniel,

I have completed a final control test. Using the exact same setup
(standard Ubuntu 26.04) but running on the stable kernel 6.17, the
system is 100% stable. No crashes occurred during the same workload.

Further findings from the 7.x kernel crash:

The Trigger: I discovered the exact moment of the crash. It happens
right after the PDF is printed, at the very second the application
(Pohoda/Remmina) attempts to display a dialog box asking: "Do you want
to open the printed PDF?". This graphical trigger instantly freezes the
session.

Dead USB Subsystem: I followed your suggestion regarding the USB
keyboard. When the crash occurs, the USB keyboard goes completely dead.
I cannot even toggle NumLock or CapsLock LEDs. This confirms a deep
kernel/driver lockup affecting the USB subsystem, making any "VT switch"
shortcuts physically impossible to register.

Validation: The fact that kernel 6.17 handles this exact scenario
(including the PDF dialog prompt) perfectly on the same hardware and
software configuration confirms this is a severe regression in the 7.x
kernel's i915 driver or related input/display management.

I have provided all the evidence I can. For my production work, I am
permanently switching back to kernel 6.17 until this regression is
addressed.
