I believe this was fixed in
sane-backends (1.4.0-1ubuntu1) resolute; urgency=medium
* Fix FTBFS issues:
- d/p/fix-ftbfs-gcc16-c23.patch: fix build failure with GCC 16 and C23
- d/p/fix-ftbfs-glibc-2_43-*: fix FTBFS issues with glibc 2.43
