Public bug reported:

Description:

I am using Ubuntu Concept for Snapdragon X Elite on a Lenovo Yoga Slim
7x.

The laptop successfully connects to Wi-Fi and I can also establish an
OpenVPN connection. However, after a few seconds the network connection
stops working completely. The Wi-Fi icon still appears connected, but
there is no internet access anymore.

When I try to disable and re-enable Wi-Fi from the system menu, the
system becomes unstable. As soon as I click the wireless network toggle
and it starts disabling the connection, the laptop crashes to a blue
screen and I must reboot the machine manually.

Expected behavior:
Wi-Fi and OpenVPN should remain stable, and toggling wireless networking should
not crash the system.

Actual behavior:
Network connectivity stops after a short time, and disabling Wi-Fi causes a
system crash/blue screen requiring a reboot.

Steps to reproduce:

Boot the laptop normally
Connect to a Wi-Fi network
Start an OpenVPN connection
Wait a few seconds
Network connectivity stops working
Try disabling Wi-Fi from the top-right network menu
System crashes with a blue screen
