> 1. install 7.0 kernel (at least kernel headers) >= 7.0.0-14.14-generic
If the build failure is with kernel 6.17, why is the test plan checking the build with kernel 7? I understand that this package is used for backports, and the source of the backport is resolute (is that true?). That's why we need the fix to land in resolute, so that you can build it in a noble OEM environment. I would expect the test plan to be consisted of two parts: - build in resolute (the target of the SRU) - build in noble with your noble oem kernel (the reason for the SRU); OR - build in resolute with the 6.17 oem kernel headers Is my thinking correct? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2152733 Title: failed to build against 6.17 kernel: error: initialization of struct ieee80211_class::namespace To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/backport-iwlwifi-dkms/+bug/2152733/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
