Another observation I made that may help in narrowing down the source of the problem is the following:
The problem occurs EVERY time the resolution is changed at least using any of the following means: - Using the Settings --> Display applet - Using xrandr -s 0 - Using xrandr --output Virtual-1 --mode AxB The problem manifests (ONLY) as mouse position and mouse clicks being out of place - as if the screen size is improperly registered after the resolution change. After EACH resolution change, if the following commands are run (as logged in non-root user), the problem is solve - until the resolution is changed again: killall /usr/bin/spice-vdagent && /usr/bin/spice-vdagent -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2126798 Title: Can not change screen resolution in Xubuntu-25.10-beta running in KVM/QEMU To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu/+bug/2126798/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
