Hi Daniel You were right about the event flood. Looking at the journal logs before I disabled it, it showed lots of: "Key repeat discarded, Wayland compositor doesn't seem to be processing events fast enough!" right alongside the bluetoothd loop.
But turning Bluetooth off in the GUI didn't resolve the repeating keys. I also noticed keyboard lag (half a second) along with the repeats, where it wouldn't show anything and then catch up (and sometimes repeating keys). The AI suggested a full Embedded Controller (EC) reset / flea power drain (shutting down the laptop, unplugging all cables, and holding the physical power button down for 60 seconds) for my kind of laptop. After booting back up, Bluetooth was active again but the "00:00:00:00:00:00" flood was completely gone, and the keyboard immediately went back to behaving normally. I let it run for a day or so and I've had no further problems ... so not a Ubuntu bug after all I guess? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2155989 Title: Intermittent key repeats under Wayland due to Mutter compositor micro- stutters on Intel Arrow Lake To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2155989/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
