Summary: linux-oem-6.17 6.17.0-1023+ freezes on shutdown on ThinkPad P16v Gen 3
(Meteor Lake + Nvidia)
What works: 6.17.0-1020-oem shuts down correctly
What breaks: 6.17.0-1023-oem and 6.17.0-1025-oem freeze after systemd-journald:
Journal stopped
Workaround found: Adding nouveau.modeset=0 to the kernel command line fixes the
freeze
Suspected cause: The PM: runtime changes introduced in 1021 for the CS35L56
audio fix (LP: #2148768) may interact badly with nouveau on Meteor Lake+Nvidia
hybrid systems
