Sorry for the noise - clearing bugs that are all seemingly "almost" (tm) done :-)
It is a bit short on info indeed :-) In the full bug history we can see that the very first action was to add the Debian bug https://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1123355 In there is a bit more what has been going on. It has been a build issue with python depending on version being 3.13 or 3.14. But that seems to be resolved by now https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/spyder/6.1.3+ds-5 https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/spyder/6.1.3+ds-6 Both build fine. And further pander confirmed that from his POV it is fine to stay. it was fix-released by the old removal in resolute and not need to be brought back AFAICS unless an argument why it should was mad. SO I guess this can go to "Fix released" and ignored unless there is another update? ** Changed in: taurus-pyqtgraph (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Fix Released ** Changed in: taurus (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Fix Released ** Changed in: spyder-unittest (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Fix Released ** Changed in: spyder (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Fix Released ** Changed in: plotpy (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Fix Released ** Changed in: guiqwt (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Fix Released ** Changed in: guidata (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Fix Released ** Changed in: cdlclient (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2144663 Title: remove spyder and demote rdeps To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cdlclient/+bug/2144663/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
