onfirming the same issue on ASUS Vivobook X3500PC / K3500PC, Realtek ALC294, Subsystem Id 0x1043:119f. No internal speaker output; headphones, HDMI, USB and Bluetooth audio all work, mic works, Windows speakers work (hardware OK).
dmesg: autoconfig for ALC294: line_outs=1 (0x14) type:speaker, speaker_outs=0, hp_outs=1 (0x21) — no picked fixup for 0x1043:119f. Tried (no effect): alsamixer all raised/unmuted + Auto-Mute disabled; PipeWire analog sink unmuted; EAPD verbs (COEF 0x0f/0x7774, 0x40/0x8800); hdajackretask pin 0x14 → Internal Speaker. COEF dump shows EAPD already set (0x0f=0x7778). Looks like a DAC-routing quirk is missing for this SSID. Attaching alsa-info. Please add an SND_PCI_QUIRK for 0x1043:0x119f. ** Attachment added: "alsa-info.txt.jSmfhNqPdT" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/2070153/+attachment/5979486/+files/alsa-info.txt.jSmfhNqPdT -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2070153 Title: [Vivobook_ASUSLaptop X3500PC_K3500PC, Realtek ALC294, Speaker, Internal] No sound at all To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/2070153/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
