Some times I go to the activites menu and try to search for a GUI
application, let's say, Firefox, and for some reason no GUI applications
are being showed. What I could get from logs was:

For some reason this search provider is causing problems, or maybe other
search providers. Here is the list of configured search providers that I
could get from dconf: ['org.gnome.Contacts.desktop',
