Having thought on this overnight, I'd like to strongly recommend that you split the functional pieces of the service infrastructure — service.sh, utils.sh, and most of hooks.sh — from the configuration. If you ever need to modify those functional parts in an update it becomes extremely difficult to do that while preserving any existing user modifications or abandoning users who have made modifications.

Part of that is that everything adheres to Ubuntu/Debian policy with respect to configuration handling. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2139070 Title: [needs-packaging] mig-parted To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2139070/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
