Another finding: with the forced PULSE_SINK workaround, unplugging a USB headset leaves existing client streams detached.
Immediately after unplugging, `pactl list sink-inputs` reports: Sink: 4294967295 for both Chrome and SMPlayer. `pactl move-sink-input <id> alsa_output.pci-0000_00_1b.0.analog-surround-51` returns successfully but does not attach the streams; they remain on sink 4294967295. This makes the above workaround incompatible with normal USB-headset hotplug switching. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2150545 Title: WirePlumber/PipeWire selects IEC958 digital output because analog ALC1150 profiles are marked unavailable, although ALSA analog surround51 works To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2150545/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
