SRU Justification
[Impact]
When installed on EDATEC Pi CM5 devices, the IPC/EXP series industrial PC
carrier boards
are not supported, resulting in lack of PCA9535 GPIO expander configuration.
[Fix]
Pull the fix from upstream Raspberry Pi tree (rpi-6.18.y branch):
- 256d6b4bc3352 overlays: ed-ipc: Add EDATEC IPC/EXP unified board overlay
[Test Plan]
* Compile tested
* Boot tested
* No impacts to existing features found
Install the built packages, reboot the machine with correct config.txt
and CAN MCP2515 and RTC PCF8563T should work.
[Regression potential]
Relatively low, as only a Devicetree overlay from upstream is added.
