Hello Jay, thanks for reaching out about this regression. I've cherry-picked the commit upstream identified into our resolute tree and started a build of it on my personal PPA [1]. Once it is done, could you ensure that the commit fixes your issue?
You can either install this test kernel by directly downloading the requisite .deb files from the builds of the linux and linux-main-modules source packages and running `dpkg -i *.deb`, or temporarily add the PPA to your system by following the instructions on its page and run an apt update/upgrade. Don't forget to remove the PPA from your system after testing.
