Hi Hui Wang, I wanted to flag that a working fix for this exact issue (ASUS TUF Gaming A14 FA401EA, AMD ACP70, Ryzen AI MAX+/Strix Halo, Realtek RT721 via SoundWire) has already been identified, implemented, tested, and closed upstream by the CachyOS kernel team:
https://github.com/CachyOS/linux-cachyos/issues/853 Given the fix is already implemented and verified working by the community, would it be possible to look into porting these patches (the DMI quirk + the resume fix) into the Ubuntu kernel? Thanks for your work on this. ** Bug watch added: github.com/CachyOS/linux-cachyos/issues #853 https://github.com/CachyOS/linux-cachyos/issues/853 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2147585 Title: No sound from AMD ACP70 audio on ASUS TUF Gaming A14 FA401EA (Ryzen AI MAX+) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2147585/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
