Hello,

Based on my testing, this appears to be a regression.

The random hard freezes occur on kernels 7.0.0-27 and 7.0.0-28. After
booting into kernel 7.0.0-14, I have not observed the same hard freezes
during equivalent usage.

The hardware is unchanged (MacBookAir6,2, Intel HD Graphics 5000), so
this appears to have been introduced between these kernel versions.

I will continue testing and report back if I observe any freezes on
7.0.0-14.

Thank you.

Khaled
