We have a proposed fix for this in Tiling Assistant: https://github.com/ubuntu/Tiling-Assistant/pull/462
On GNOME 50, the extension’s semi-maximize / move_frame placement path was anchoring tiled windows by their center instead of flush to the work area. The PR skips that path on Shell 50+ and uses a single clamped move_resize_frame(). Verified locally on Ubuntu 26.04 / GNOME 50 Wayland. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2155749 Title: Window snapping overflows right edge on right-half snap To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell-ubuntu-extensions/+bug/2155749/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
