Public bug reported:

This bug affects the latest LTS versions, 24.04 and 26.04, as well as 26.10
(development build).
The at-spi2-core package does not install the compiled translation files from
getext (at-spi2-core.mo). As a result, the translated names of the
accessibility interface are not available, and applications that query these
names, such as the Orca screen reader, display the element names in English,
even if the user's language is different, such as Spanish, Portuguese, German,
etc.

Current result: Listing the files in the /usr/share/locale/pt_BR/LC_MESSAGES
directory
and also in other languages, it can be observed that the at-spi2-core.mo file
does not exist, thus causing Orca to display labels such as button, checkbox,
etc. in English.
Expected result:
The at-spi2-core.MO file must be in the translation folders, causing Orca to
pronounce the element names in the local language, not just in English.

Note:
For curiosity's sake, the bug has occurred since Ubuntu 22.10, only in
derivative distributions, as it does not occur in Debian, nor in other
distributions such as Arch, Fedora, OpenSUSE, etc.

Thank you!
