I was able to update open-vm-tools and open-vm-tools-desktop 13.0.10.
from the noble-proposed repo.
I did not locate any version 13.0.10 packages for:
open-vm-tools-containerinfo
open-vm-tools-dev
open-vm-tools-salt-minion
open-vm-tools-sdmp
Is there a separate "proposed" repo for packages released in the nobel-
updates repo?
Version 13.0.0 packages are available in nobel-updates, but these would
be incompatible with 13.0.10.
Testing of the open-vm-tools and open-vm-tools-desktop 13.0.10:
Hypervisor: Worstation for Windows
Host: Windows 10
with Gnome for Xorg
1. vmware-toolbox-cmd. - tested following sub-commands - all PASS
config
logging level
script
stat
timesync
2. Desktop - Copy Paste
host <=== ===> Ubuntu 24.04. PASS. good both directions
- menu
- keyboard shotcuts
- right mouse buttoon
3. Desktop - Drag - n - drop
files: Good both directions
- text files 1 & 2 KB
- .png 12 KB
- .m4a 9 MB

directions
From the graphical desktop testing perspective, everything looks good.
