Thanks for reporting this bug! It does not look like kernel 7.0.0-29 introduced any changes that could affect the AX211, as there were no changes in the following directories:
drivers/bluetooth/ net/bluetooth/ drivers/usb/ drivers/firmware/ Changelog: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/7.0.0-29.29 This is quite an interesting case, especially since you mentioned that no firmware blobs or other packages were updated in the meantime. It could be a non-deterministic issue that occurs from time to time and, for some unknown reason, started occurring with .29 on your system. I did a little more digging and found reports from users experiencing similar problems with the AX201. It is not exactly the same chip, but it is closely related. What helped them was completely powering off the computer for one or two minutes. In some cases, they also disconnected it from the power supply. After powering it back on, the AX201 started working normally again. Could you please try the same procedure with both .28 and .29 and let us know whether it makes any difference? ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Krystian Kaniewski (kkaniewski) ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2163365 Title: bluetooth To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2163365/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
