Is this issue still occurring on Hardy? If so, please attach your
/var/log/Xorg.0.log and /etc/X11/xorg.conf. Also, if possible, attach
to the Xorg process while it is in the high CPU utilization state and
look at backtraces to see if it reveals what routine(s) it is getting
stuck in. Any info on how to reproduce this on other hardware would be
useful as well.
