Verified working. No hangs seen for running stress test for 40 minutes,
using 3 instances of 4 workers each.

/etc/fstab modified to enable discard (what used to trigger this hang):

LABEL=writable  /       ext4    discard 0       1
LABEL=system-boot       /boot/firmware  vfat    defaults        0       1
/swapfile       none    swap    sw      0       0
