Public bug reported:

System:
Ubuntu 24.04
MSI Stealth 14 AI Studio A1VFG
Kernel: 7.0.0-30-generic

Problem:
Automatic suspend is disabled in GNOME Settings.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Log into the desktop normally.
2. Lock the screen. Lid remain open.
3. Leave the computer untouched for approximately 10 minutes.
4. The laptop enters suspend even though automatic suspend is disabled.
5. Attempt to resume using the keyboard, mouse, power button.

Expected:
The computer should remain at the lock screen because automatic suspend is
disabled.
If manually suspended, it should resume normally.

Actual:
The machine automatically suspends after approximately 10 minutes.
After entering suspend, it cannot successfully wake/resume.
A forced reboot is required.

Frequency:
Every time
