Hello, I am trying to improve my skills in package management and I encountered this very old bug. I have seen that `/etc/resolvconf/update- libc.d/postfix` is not included in the package anymore, and the resolv.conf file resides within the postfix chroot at /var/spool/postfix/etc/resolv.conf. The sync is provided by the systemd path and oneshot service units `debian/postfix.postfix-resolvconf.path` and `debian/postfix.postfix-resolvconf.service`.
I think this bug can be marked `Invalid` or `Fix Released`, the choice is up to you, whether to mark it or to leave it as is. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/437783 Title: postfix update-libc.d script tries to copy resolv.conf onto itself. This is also a link target for many duplicates of an unrelated bug: bind9 failed to start : resolvconf: Error: /etc/resolv.conf must be a symlink.
