In recollcmd 1.43.16-1 almost all dependencies requested here seem to be listed (after taking python -> python3 into account):
Suggests: antiword, djvulibre-bin, ghostscript, groff, libimage- exiftool-perl, libinotifytools0, libwpd-tools, poppler-utils, pstotext, python3-chardet, python3-chm, python3-icalendar, python3-lxml, python3-mido, python3-mutagen, python3-py7zr, python3-rarfile, texlive- binaries, unrtf, wv Note that they're "Suggests" which means they don't get installed as dependencies by default - I think that's probably appropriate as which ones users want will vary. You can ask the package manager to install a package with all "Suggests", e.g. with command-line apt: sudo apt install --install-suggests recollcmd Or just pick which you want from the list and install those. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1089287 Title: useful dependencies missing in recoll package To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/recoll/+bug/1089287/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
