I've gone ahead and prepared+released an update for ubuntu-advantage-
tools in the security pocket using the patch you posted here. Thank you
for the reproducer as well, it was very helpful for testing. I credited
you in the changelog per our standard security sponsorship process.
The new version should be live as 19.7ubuntu0.2 in trusty. Mirrors are
still updating but those should be done eventually (within the day for
sure). We are publishing a regression USN under USN-8555-2 to announce
the publication of this new version to users.
