Public bug reported:
After resuming from suspend, USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode stops working.
The external monitor briefly wakes up on cable plug/unplug but reports
"no signal". All DP connectors show "disconnected" in /sys/class/drm/.
The following warning repeats in dmesg on each cable plug:
