This bug was fixed in the package gnome-remote-desktop -
51~alpha-0ubuntu2
---------------
gnome-remote-desktop (51~alpha-0ubuntu2) stonking; urgency=medium
* d/p/data-Add-grd-user-to-tss-group.patch: dropped. Putting grd user in the
tss group makes the TPM credentials backend reachable, which exposes an
upstream sealing bug. Stay on the file backend until
GNOME/gnome-remote-desktop#243 is fixed. (LP: #2164534)
* d/postinst: remove the g-r-d user from the tss group on upgrade from an
affected version. systemd-sysusers only ever adds memberships, so dropping
the patch alone would leave existing installs on the broken TPM path.
(LP: #2164534)
* This is a bug-fix only upload, so no feature freeze exception is needed.
