I performed an audit on the archive window where the faulty cp was active today (with the help of the old bot Claude), and it seems that we can reduce the affected packages to three main candidates that should be considered for rebuild: dracut (which has a fixed version in proposed), kunifiedpush, and mariadb. These are affected due to their .service files.
Beyond these, around ~40 cosmetic/low impact packages (e.g. icon themes) got the execute bit set for things like .svg files. Currently I do not see any immediate concern regarding these. I will attach the affected package report as a file to this comment. Thanks Kai for flagging this! ** Attachment added: "rebuild-list.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/livecd-rootfs/+bug/2165041/+attachment/5999262/+files/rebuild-list.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2165041 Title: cp: Missing setuid flag in su and sudo To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/rust-coreutils/+bug/2165041/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
